SUMMARY:
Under limited supervision, provides technical and administrative assistance to the Department of Case Management Services. The position is an active participant in the utilization review / case management / discharge planning processes. This position requires exceptional interpersonal communication skills in dealing with both internal and external customers, face to face, telephonically and through written communications.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
To qualify for the position, the candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and two years' experience in Utilization Management, Quality Management, Medical Records or clerical experience in a health care field is preferred. Knowledge of healthcare insurance preferred.
