Production Expeditor

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Production Expeditor to join an electronics manufacturing client in Rancho Cordova. This role can be a temp-to-hire position based on performance. Hours for the role are Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 5:30 pm. Fridays 8:00 am - 3:00 pm for a total of 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required as needed.

Job Duties:

• Work with cross functional teams to ensure deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with production, procurement and warehouse teams to prioritize work orders and resolve obstructions to production flow.
• Expedite material orders and address delays.
• Track material availability, as well as manage inventory and update teams.
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers on schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of expediting activity and records.
• Identify and resolve any delays to production schedules.
• Implement process improvements.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of expediting material handling experience in manufacturing settings.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Proficient with ERP/MRP systems.
• Lean or Six Sigma experience a plus.
• High school diploma.
• Associate's Degree in Supply Chain preferred.
