Foreman
Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Night Shift Foreman to supervise and assist with operation activities at our mine operation in Ames. This would include safety leadership, production and plant/mobile equipment maintenance.

- Responsible for training and development of team, scheduling, performance management and effective leadership of the hourly workforce
- Successfully implement the Company's safety and environmental processes
- Successfully lead and manage to established production, safety and environmental objectives and metrics
- Be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Be proficient with a computer and Microsoft Office programs and other similar programs

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, regularly requiring long hours and weekend work.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mine Engineering, Construction Management,or equivalent work/military experience
- 2+ years' experience in aggregate operations, preferred
- Minimum 1-year supervisory experience in a mining environment, preferred
