Program Manager III
BCforward is seeking a Program Manager III/Education /Product Program Manager to work remotel
Start/End Dates: 8/5/2024 - 8/4/2025 (potential extension)
US - CA - Remote
Pay - $70-$75/hr/w2
Description:
Education believes immersive learning has the potential to transform the classroom, bring educators and students together remotely in shared spaces, enhance vocational training, and create new opportunities for lifelong learning.
Edu Program Manager will work cross-functionally with Product, External Affairs, Partnerships, Research, Compliance, and Marketing to execute education programs and projects with global academic institutions and non-profit organizations. A successful manager will thrive in being hands-on, operationally savvy, and have a strong project management skill set.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage strategy and optimization 3-5 education programs, serving 30-40 partners and their communities.
- Onboarding of 30-40 partners to internal finance and contracting system.
- Lead and execute complex operational processes under tight deadlines to deliver multiple donations to external partners.
- Communicate effectively with core XFN stakeholders to ensure legal and compliance requirements are being met across programs.
- Track program impact and reporting including post-surveys across program participants.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
- 4-5+ years of Program Management
- Experience working in higher or lower education, non-profits, or edtech companies.
- The ideal candidate will have experience conceptualizing and implementing long term strategies to enhance existing programs or creating net-new ones.
- Attention to detail and the ability to ensure all goals and objectives are met per project deadlines.
- Experience communicating with diverse audiences and across multiple time zones.
- Experience using grants platforms and/or giving platforms.
- Working with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment while demonstrating skills in communication, persuasiveness, creativity and judgment.
- Experience leading projects that support initiatives that span across internal roles and teams as well as external partners.
- Ability to prioritize competing needs with clear rationale and proposed solutions.
building and education product- Quest, this candidate will be working with 4-5 programs that need management for education. Working with the CWAM and folks from Policy, other XFN folks from product marketing and research to align key initiatives and set programs. Will be a POC with external partners as well, ensure the agenda and plan is in place that require legal support and MDA's with agreements.
Someone who understands the education and audience for this, partnering with ISV's (independent software developers) and app developer
Education is a priority and larger scope of work
Great communicator, organized, hitting milestones on projects like preparing events and working with key stake holders, vendors and partners efficiently
MUST HAVE SKILLS
4-5 years of program management experience, development of processes
Experience working in higher or lower education, non-profits, or edtech companies.
Event Planning
Experience as a teacher
Worked at FAANG Companies
5-7 YEARS
