Overview

SUMMARY

Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a full-time Project Account Specialist for the corporate office in Anchorage, AK.
Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.

• Prepare, organize, and submit project setup requests.
• Maintain project files to include project setup forms, applicable emails, and other relevant documentation.
• Linking final documents thru CMI to the project.
• Interface with various departments to gather information required to set up projects.
• Link employees to projects for both Time and Expense.
• Monthly project maintenance as tasked.
• Continually assess ongoing processes to identify areas of potential improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum) Qualifications

• One (1) year of federal contract experience.
• One (1) year of experience with Deltek Costpoint.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Must be experienced in Deltek Costpoint.

Preferred

• Experience in Deltek Costpoint - Projects or People Module.
• Perform daily tasks with a high level of efficiency and extreme attention to detail.
• Possess good judgement and the ability to make sound decisions.
• Work independently and without daily instruction.
• Bachelor's degree in related field or required work experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily hybrid schedule with a three day a week in office schedule.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work as a necessity.
