The Project Controls Lead Analyst is responsible for executing project control functions on moderately sized and complex projects and increases the visibility of project schedule, cost, performance and risks. Provides formal and ad hoc analyses of project data to the project management staff to support the decision-making process and achievement of project goals. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite and have previous Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 10 or more years or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling Experience
or
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Finance/Accounting
Experience: 8 years or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling Experience
Travel: 0-10%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads the project control functions of a large sized project, or a collection of medium sized projects, and able to influence internal and external clients.
- Engages in proposal development, execution planning, workforce analysis and risk mitigation.
- Ensures effective cost controls are established and maintained.
- Monitors the risk management process.
- Ensures projects are effectively planned and scheduled.
- Ensures schedule risks are understood and avoided, transferred or mitigated by the project team.
- Responsible for developing Project Controls estimates and executing under the budget.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
