Position Overview

UMULUS MEDIA | DALLAS is looking for a dynamic part-timeProducer for NewsTalk 820AM/93.3 FM WBAP and 570 KLIF-AM. Our people work in a state-of-the-art facility, take pride in our community and value teamwork. If you have a passion for the News/Talk format, are focused, creative and can multi-task and most of all...love radio, we should talk. Board work, post-production and posting podcasts are all a part of what we do.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce a compelling radio show by running a flawless, mistake free board in Market #4-DFW.
• Great with phone skills and able to multitask.
• Participates in station Programming and station events.
• Assist in production by listening for great audio bytes for station imaging.
• Handles emergency news/weather in show. Notifies appropriate individuals.
• Ensures logged commercials, Station promos, sweepers and any other programming element essential to the station's operations air as required.
• Performs additional duties as requested.

Qualifications:

• Preferably 3-5 years of radio experience is required.
• Strong production skills and knowledge of Op X, VOX Pro/Adobe Audition and Audacity.
• Strong knowledge of all FCC rules and regulations
• Knowledge of, and passion for the News/Talk format.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and editing skills; proficient in grammar; ability to make others feel comfortable and open up on air
• Can work well in a team environment; Be collaborative.
• Knowledge of FCC rules and regulations
• Must be flexible with work hours including nights, weekends and holidays
• Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record
