RESEARCH SPECIALIST A

Duties: Seek a motivated individual to become an integral member of a molecular biology lab with a focus on studies of kidney disease development. The applicant will primarily be involved in collecting and analyzing human tissue samples, microdissecting samples, organizing clinical and histological information. In addition the incumbent will be performing research experiments, but also will be involved in directing aspects of the research activities of a laboratory.

Position is contingent on continued funding.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in science, and 0 to 1 year of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Previous experience or acquaintance with methods used in molecular biology laboratory is a plus, but not required, especially if the individual is ambitious and highly motivated to learn.
