As we continue to transform the practice of medicine, the next chapter of Sanofi's Play to Win strategy will require a focus on delivering transformation and simplification of our core processes, optimizing resource allocation and deployment to fuel business growth and investment in science. To facilitate this transformation, a new Business Operations Business Unit is being established, bringing together existing business service activities, and driving further expansion of centralized services at scale into a global unit, with a focus on driving simplification, efficiency, and productivity.

This new Business Unit will enable the delivery of best-in-class business support capabilities across the organization, incorporating and engaging disparate teams from across areas such as R&D, M&S, the Corporate Functions and GBUs into new global Service Delivery Towers with initial services spanning Commercial, Finance, Procurement and People & Culture.

Reporting to the S2P Local Solution Partner Lead in North America, the S2P Local Solution Partner Support plays a critical role in overseeing engagement with local partners to align with global S2P strategies. It includes aligning local strategies with broader S2P delivery objectives and working closely with regional teams to understand and meet specific local business needs. Collaboration with local teams ensures a deep understanding of regional nuances and challenges. Additionally, the role involves working with the local management team to ensure high-quality S2P service delivery, optimizing the use of both global and local resources for efficient operations.

Reporting to the S2P Local Solution Partner Lead NA, the S2P Solutions Partner Support role in North America is also providing end-to-end S2P guidance and advice, triaging S2P issues, driving adherence to the S2P core model, and working collaboratively with the business and S2P delivery teams to drive efficiency, effectiveness and quality in service and end user experience.

Responsibilities

  • The S2P Solution Partner Support role will provide strategic S2P guidance, advice and triage support to Procurement and the business.
  • Drive adherence to S2P core model, working across the enterprise to ensure S2P needs and related services within North America align to S2P standards and are integrated as part of the end-to-end S2P delivery framework.
  • Work closely with North America teams to anticipate annual purchasing volumes and resourcing needs to ensure the right processes, technical solutions and support is available to manage demands across each GBU and Corporate Function; provide customer service and triage support in effort to address S2P-related issues and bring solutions to resolve.
  • Collaborate with North America management to measure progress and value delivery, including adherence to performance metrics and service specific KPIs.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder and customer relationships across the business to drive simplification and standardization in S2P operations / processes, and to strengthen the S2P control environment.
  • Support the execution of company S2P projects to ensure proper implementation & adherence of new tools.
  • Liaise with BPO to ensure delivery of S2P operations in line with defined performance metrics and agreed core model.

About you

Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of work experience with 1-2 years concentrated in procurement, vendor management, or related roles, with a focus on regional and local operations.
  • Proven influencing skills in driving adherence to core models through collaborative efforts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; effective collaborator with strong trust-building and influencing skills.
  • Results-oriented with strong analytics skills; ability to drive operational excellence through data-driven insights.
  • Ability to lead change initiatives at the local level and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Understanding of global S2P strategies and the ability to align local operations with broader objectives.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • International experience working with diverse cultures and global teams.
