Security Analyst

Our client is seeking a dedicated Security Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for a professional with 2-6 years of experience in data administration, security methods, and various database design techniques. Familiarity with multi-platform environments and IT auditing is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzing the information security environment and developing security measures to safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure.
- Collaborating with various teams to implement security plans that ensure all information assets are appropriately safeguarded.
- Determining methods of implementing and enforcing security policies.
- Leading the development of information security technology tasks and projects.
- Generating, coordinating, and maintaining project plans.
- Developing cost analysis estimates for information security tasks and projects.
- Defining, redesigning, and documenting security processes and procedures.
- Assisting in the development and delivery of awareness for information security.
- Consulting with IT staff to evaluate, select, install, and configure hardware and software systems that provide appropriate security functions.

Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree with three (3) or more years of relevant experience in a related field or any combination of equivalent experience and formal training.
- Experience in data administration and security methods.
- Familiarity with multi-platform environments and IT auditing.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of successful formal and informal communication.
- Demonstrated integrity and trust, with a track record of being seen as a direct, truthful individual.
- Proven teamwork skills, with experience working well in a collaborative setting.
- Technical expertise, with a commitment to increasing knowledge and skills in current technical/functional area.
