RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of journal entries, account reconciliations, and analyses as directed by the Vice President of Finance.
• Lead projects as needed, overseeing the preparation and proper documentation of associated journal entries.
• Manage month-end close processes, including foreign currency adjustments, elimination entries, and expense allocations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Design and implement new procedures to streamline the closing process.
• Contribute to the development of global accounting policies to enhance accuracy in financial reporting.
• Participate actively in year-end audits, including preparing audit schedules and responding to related inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve complex accounting issues.
• Assist in ERP system implementation efforts.
• Collaborate with the FP&A Manager on month-end reporting and analysis, including preparing and reviewing profit and loss statements and key performance indicators (KPIs) for accuracy.
• Conduct monthly variance analysis between actual results and budget/forecast, preparing reports for senior management.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and support for special projects as assigned by the VP Finance, CEO, or COO, including preparations for board meetings.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Finance, Accounting, and/or Economics
• 3+ years' experience
• Manufacturing industry experience
• Must have strong inventory accounting experience
• Must have experience/exposure to revenue & commissions and strong technical accounting

HIGHLY PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active CPA license
• Big 4/Public accounting experience
• Experience with NetSuite
• Open-minded and flexible/adaptable to change
• Growth-minded with a passion for accepting new challenges and picking up new skills

Compensation: $90K - $120K base
