Job Summary

This position will work as a member of the Growth Team within CRH focused on M&A and strategic projects and will play a key role in supporting the Growth Team to deliver on the long-term inorganic growth strategy for CRH. This role will provide a high level of exposure to the existing Strategy, Innovation, Venturing and Development teams within CRH and will work closely with these teams at both a Group and Divisional level. Work location is Atlanta, Georgia.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the long-term end-to-end acquisition process, including market analysis, strategic fit, due diligence, valuation, contract negotiation, integration, and post-closing issue resolution
  • Conduct economic and geographic research to assess market opportunities
  • Assist with the strategic planning cycle and preparation of presentations and briefing decks
  • Collaborate with Strategy, Innovation, Venturing, and Development teams to coordinate and align initiatives
  • Support various projects as required, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3 or more years of relevant experience in corporate development, investment banking, consulting, or private equity is highly preferred
  • Travel approximately 30% with brief periods to 75%
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, solid development of presentations
  • Solid financial, analytical, forecasting and problem-solving skills
  • Project management skills for large and multidisciplinary projects
  • Strategic thinking

  • Highly motivated and comfortable working in a demanding fast paced environment
  • Humility, patience and listening skills
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous environments
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Able to communicate with others by telephone and in person.
  • Able to utilize a computer for word processing, email communication and preparation of documents and presentations.
  • May require sitting for extended periods of time.

Work Environment

  • This is a hybrid position. The team is typically in the office 3 days a week, depending on the business needs.
  • Primarily, normal office working conditions. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
  • The position may require work outside of normal business hours.
