- Leading the EHS Team responsible for overseeing field activities on a daily/ongoing basis.
- Oversees the running of the project in a safety capacity: ensuring we are following safe procedures and keeping everyone out of harm's way.
- Leverage internal and external resources to administer policies and procedures consistently across the project, functions, and locations (areas and segments).
- Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems, and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action.
- Making sure project follows safety specifications mandated by contract, state, and federal agencies.
- Making sure work environment is safe environment for all employees.
- Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job.
- Proactively works to develop and train junior staff.
- Assists or gives safety training for individuals on site.
- Meets expectations on attendance and punctuality.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
