What you'll do...

We are looking for a bright and ambitious candidate to join Walmart's Global Marketplace and Ecommerce Compliance team. The Senior Manager, Global Marketplace and Ecommerce Compliance, Online Content is a critical role that will be responsible for working with key stake holders and subject matter experts to develop and implement scalable solutions for ecommerce item initiatives. This role will be a key part of facilitating our business and mitigating risk. As one of the primary owners of our item policy implementation and development team, you help drive and implement controls to ensure non-compliant products are not listed and sold on Walmart.com. Reporting to the Director, Specialty Ethics and Compliance, Global Marketplace and Ecommerce Compliance, you'll play an active role in our compliance program across a broad range of subject matter areas, including: consumer protection, online content, and others as need arises. You'll also look for innovative and new ways to drive results and will have a chance to think outside the box to accomplish company goals.

You'll sweep us off our feet if:

You have a JD and/or experience on Legal, Consumer Protection, or Policy teams

You are stimulated and motivated by challenges and are ready to engage at a Fortune 1 scale

You have a background in compliance monitoring, product safety, regulatory compliance, or health and wellness compliance

You're familiar with ecommerce or marketplace sales platforms

You have a great eye for detail and have the ability to draft simple, clear, and concise policies

You're organized, disciplined, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously

You're a master at making complex subjects easily understood through text and visuals

You "get things done" and have a "can do" attitude

You'll make an impact by:

Developing Policy - Work with subject matter experts, legal, our business partners and others to understand compliance needs and develop controls and monitoring for our eCommerce platform.

Leading Initiatives - Take ownership in one or multiple team objectives by analyzing issues, identifying the scope of work to be done, and implementing a plan of action.

Leveraging Technology - Learn to utilize the many tools and resources we have available to efficiently manage workflow.

Building strategic relationships: Maximize relationships with subject matter experts, merchants, and other business partners to understand their business and serve as the connective tissue between many different organizations.

Operating with excellence - Set an example in managing to KPIs, delivering excellence, presenting at all levels, and developing yourself and others.

Preferred Qualifications:

Juris Doctorate, or equivalent experience

Experience creating and monitoring compliance controls

Prior eCommerce experience is a strong plus

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 6 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area. 2 years' supervisory experience. 3 years' experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
