RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Detroit, MI that is seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer to join their team. This role involves supporting professional services work for our end client, focusing on break fixes, incident response, and outage management.Key Responsibilities:- The Senior Network Engineer will provide expert-level support for network infrastructure, including Aruba Silver Peak and Cisco switching and wireless systems
- Respond to and resolve network incidents and outages promptly to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity
- Perform break fixes and troubleshoot complex network issues to maintain optimal network performance
- As a Senior Network Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network solutions that meet client requirements
- Conduct regular network assessments and audits to identify potential issues and areas for improvement
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures
REQUIREMENTS:
- CCIE certification is required
- Minimum 15 years of experience as a Network Engineer
- Extensive experience with Aruba Silver Peak and Cisco switching and wireless technologies
- Proven track record of successfully managing and resolving network incidents and outages
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
