Our client is seeking a Senior Product Solutions Engineer in Orlando, FL.

Role Description

• Specialize in designing and modifying software enhancements and products for networked, cloud-based, or Internet-related applications, leveraging deep knowledge and experience
• Analyze existing programs and formulates logic for new systems, offering innovative perspectives
• Provide insightful recommendations for changes in development, maintenance, and system standards, integrating best practices and external factors
• Collaborate effectively with vendor, outsourcing, and technical teams to develop sophisticated technical solutions within the organization's architecture
• Manage various aspects of the application platform architecture, cloud, data, security, etc., ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Drive continuous development and improvement of technical solutions to optimize business efficiency, acting as a resource for innovative ideas
• Work closely with developers to resolve design problems and provide detailed solution specifications, offering guidance and mentorship
• You will be expected to stay up to date with emerging technologies

• Oversee all aspects of the application platform architecture, cloud, data, security, etc., ensuring strategic alignment and innovation
• Champion continuous development and improvement of technical solutions, serving as a role model for excellence
• Provide leadership in solving design problems and offering detailed solution specifications, mentoring and guiding colleagues
• Help engage around the estimation and planning of highly sophisticated scalable projects and their budget allocations
• Stay aligned with emerging technologies in your domain to enable informed recommendations

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of related work experience
• Ability to work effectively with distributed or international teams of developers, devops, quality assurance engineers, and product managers
• Ability to efficiently investigate and determine the underlying causes of system issues rather than just addressing symptoms
• Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation
• Ability to handle unexpected challenges with a calm and proactive approach.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Familiar with working on an agile team/in an agile environment
• Familiarity with performing engineering activities in a secure environment with robust security controls, adhering to industry best practices and maintaining compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards to safeguard infrastructure, applications, and data."
• Familiarity with comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions using tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience proactively analyzing metrics and logs to improve system reliability and scalability.
• Proficient with the following:
• Rancher
• Jenkins
• Grafana
• Kafka
• GitHub/GitLab (source code control and CI/CD pipeline tools)
• IIS
• Azure DevOps
• Mobile devices (Android/iOS)
• Familiarity with DB backends (Oracle/MSSQL/Maria/Mongo/Couchbase)
• Change Management/Incident Management/Problem Management
• Service Now
• Desire to develop further technical skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
• Maintaining a positive attitude in the face of setbacks
