Position: Senior Project Accountant (HYBRID)

Salary: 100,00-115,000

Duration: Direct Hire

Key Responsibilities:

Project Financial Management:

• Oversee financial activities for multiple projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Monitor and analyze project expenses, ensuring alignment with budgets and timelines.
• Prepare project financial reports and present findings to stakeholders.

Billing and Revenue Recognition:

• Handle project invoicing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contracts.
• Track billable hours, expenses, and manage revenue recognition according to accounting standards.

Compliance and Audit:

• Ensure adherence to company policies, contractual agreements, and regulatory standards.
• Support internal and external audits, providing documentation and insights.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with project managers, clients, and finance teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Coordinate with the accounts payable and receivable teams for accurate transaction processing.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for improving accounting procedures and project cost tracking.
• Implement best practices and automation tools to enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

• Degree in accounting/finance or 4 years related experience required.
• Construction industry knowledge is preferred and Timberline/Sage300
• Must be knowledgeable in general accounting principles
