RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Salt Lake City, UT that is seeking a hands-on Senior Project/Program Manager to lead key IT initiatives that drive impactful results across business operations. This role focuses on delivering innovative technology solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless project execution in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader who thrives on delivering tangible results and fostering collaboration in a fast-moving, innovative environment.Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Manage IT and business operations projects, ensuring technology solutions are practical and meet the needs of site-based and operational environments
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration across functional teams, manufacturing units, and external partners to ensure cohesive project delivery
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee multiple global project teams, ensuring timely, results-driven delivery across the portfolio/program
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with business units and IT stakeholders, tailoring solutions to operational requirements
  • Vendor Management: Work with vendors, customers, and internal IT teams to successfully deliver projects, including managing RFP and RFQ processes
  • Change Management: Implement innovative strategies to optimize delivery timelines, control budgets, and mitigate risks effectively
  • Governance: Provide strategic insights, lead steering committees, and ensure governance processes keep projects on track
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and manage emerging risks and issues, providing hands-on guidance to resolve them
  • Team Leadership: Drive a people-focused approach to leadership, fostering collaboration and a culture of high performance and inclusivity


REQUIREMENTS:

  • PMP certification is strongly preferred
  • 10+ years of experience as a Program and/or Project Manager
  • 5+ years of experience managing technical projects or programs in a relevant industry
  • Proficient in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, Microsoft Azure, and enterprise applications such as SAP
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with an eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Teamwork and Communication: Positive attitude, strong collaborative skills, and experience working in matrix organizations
  • Vendor Management: Proven ability to lead vendor relationships and manage procurement processes
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
