Position Title: Senior Systems Engineer (Multiple Openings)

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop high quality DevOps solutions - configurable, reusable, maintainable, and extensible.

Adhere to DevOps best practices from scalability, security, dependency, and risk mitigation perspectives.

Identify the impacts on system performance and maintainability.

Collaborate with the stakeholders and help guide the technical discussions.

Communicate with development on the solution spanning multiple teams and areas.

Active involvement in all team activities.

Key contributor to lead team discussions.

Suggest process improvements for automation, high availability, high visibility, security, and fault tolerant.

Thorough knowledge of multiple modules/applications and system components.

Pick up complex requirements and independently design and implement the solutions.

Create high quality technical documentation and result oriented POCs, and present and discuss the ideas to others.

Work towards continual improvement of the process and the system by introducing new technologies.

Provide support for Development and Technical Support in resolving build deploy issues and providing key contributions in resolution.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, or a directly related field of study, plus the following experience:

• 4 years of combined experience to include EACH of the following architecture/frameworks: J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and REST;
• 4 years of combined experience to include EACH of the following platforms: Windows, Linux, Docker, OpenShift, and Public Cloud (AWS & Azure);
• 4 years of combined experience to include EACH of the following database concepts: Oracle DB, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, and Redis;
• 4 years of combined experience to include EACH of the following source code and environments: Git, Maven, Ant, and Nexus;
• 4 years of combined experience to include EACH of the following networks: TLS, Certificates, DNS, Nginx, Network protocols, and Proxy;
• 4 years of experience in Service Oriented Architecture;
• 4 years of combined experience to include EACH of the following middleware: Oracle WebLogic, RabbitMQ and Tomcat;
• 4 years of combined experience to include EACH of the following DevOps tools: Ansible, Jenkins, Ansible, SonarQube, Gremlin, and Opsgenie; and
• 4 years of combined experience to include EACH of the following monitoring tools: Opsgenie, NewRelic, and ELK.

Experience may be gained concurrently.

Hybrid position with 3 days a week remote available and 2 days a week work from employer's office in Frisco, TX. Must reside within commuting distance from employer's Frisco, TX office.
