The ServiceNow System Administrator will operate as part of the IT Business Office team to support the current and future operational needs of BCBSKS. This role will handle configuration and deployment tasks for the BCBSKS ServiceNow sub-prod and production instances, as well as provide day-to-day support and system enhancement recommendations for current and future ServiceNow modules.
*This position will be hired at the System Administrator or Senior System Administrator level.
** This position is eligible to work hybrid (9 or more days a month onsite) in accordance with our Telecommuting Policy. Applicants must reside in Kansas or Missouri or be willing to relocate as a condition of employment.

Compensation$95,000 - 126,000- Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas offers excellent competitive compensation with the goal of retaining and growing talented team members. The salary range for this role is a good faith estimate, it is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid. All offers presented to candidates are carefully reviewed to ensure fair, equitable pay by offering competitive salaries that align with the individual's skills, education, experience, and training. The range may vary above or below the stated amounts.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document requirements
- Design, configure, and deploy forms and workflows in the ServiceNow environment
- Perform unit, system, and integration testing of ServiceNow processes
- Create and maintain documentation for the ServiceNow solution
- Configure and support integrations between ServiceNow and other software solutions
- Adhere to established best practices and standard operating procedures
- Assist with designing, developing, and supporting the CMDB within ServiceNow
- Provide guidance to users regarding how to utilize the ServiceNow platform
- Assist with implementing additional modules of the ServiceNow platform
What you need
- HS Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology required.
Bonus if you have
- 2+ years as a ServiceNow administrator preferred.
- ServiceNow Administrator certification preferred
- CMDB development/maintenance experience preferred
