JOB TITLE/LOCATION:

Social Media Specialist - Oxford, CT

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for creating and administering the content on all social media platforms to build an audience and ensure customer engagement. The Social Media Specialist also monitors site metrics, responds to reader comments, and oversees creative design.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement and monitor the company's social media strategy to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and increase sales. Ensure social media strategy aligns with company goals and values.
• Create and share engaging daily content, including text, images, and videos that promote the company's brand. Ensure content is well-written, accurate and timely.
• Measure the success of social media campaigns using KPI's. Monitor client engagement and interact with clients on social media posts. Analyze social media channels to build a community of followers and enhance interaction.
• Create and update social media editorial calendar.
• Collaborate with divisional teams to create content on how to market a brand and promote its products using social media.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends, best practices, and technologies.
• Attendance at work is an essential function of the job.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or relevant field.

EXPERIENCE:

• 1-2 years' experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
• Proven work experience utilizing social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, and others.

SKILLS / CERTIFICATIONS:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong creative mindset
