Description: Our client is currently seeking a Splunk Engineer in Owings Mills, MD (Hybrid: 2 days per week onsite, 3 days remote.)
Role:
- Implement log data pipelines
- Process raw data from various sources
- Use automation for data ingestion (Ansible preferred, Terraform acceptable)
- Design, develop, and deploy AWS cloud solutions
- Troubleshoot incidents
- Experience in Log Data Engineering
- Experience with scripting
- Experience with Splunk and/or Splunk Cloud
- Familiarity with IT Service Management
- Ability to work independently and diagnose complex issues
- Knowledge of security, performance, and disaster recovery methodologies
- Splunk Certification
- Experience with Ansible tower automations
- Experience using Gitlab
- Experience with AWS OpenSearch and Cribl
- Familiarity with data streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, spark streaming, etc.
