Sr DW ETL SQL Developer

This candidate will be part of a 43-person team made up of Project Managers, Teradata and Web Developers, Data Modelers, DBAs, Business Analysts and Report Analysts. Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with programmers, analysts, immediate supervisor, management, system users, operations, other State agencies and the private sector.

Job Duties:
• Provides code repository management and SSIS packages support
• Provides support/coordination for network related issues and development
• Leads source data research and target data requirements analysis for successful conversions
• Audits existing data for quality and clarity
• Responsible for converting existing data and adding new data sources as needed according to conversion best practices
• Preserves and improves data quality during data conversion activities
• Prepare necessary forms and documentation for implementation
• Works with the State and stakeholders to convert existing data and reports, including algorithm to assure matching occurs between datasets before and after conversion
• Analyze and recommend process improvements
• Must be able to work independently

Required:
• 3 - 5 Years DEV OPS Experience in SQL/WIN Environment; SSIS packages/authored in Visual Basic
• 3+ Years Experience using GitHub code repository or similar
• 3+ Years Experience with troubleshooting server network issues related to firewalls, VPN, B2B connections, etc.
• 5+ Years Experience with all phases of SDLC

Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical study
• Teradata Experience and Teradata Utilities
• Experience with SQL Assistant
• Experience performing Data Extracts, Data Transformations & Data Loads (ETL)
• Experience with State Government/Public Health business areas
• Experience working with business partners to proactively identify value add solutions
• Experience with Report Development
• Experience with Analytical Tools

Working Time:
• 8:30 am - 5:00 pm EST
Interview Process:
• 1-2 video interviews that will primarily be behavioral based
