How You Will Make an Impact:

The qPCR Business Unit drives $700M+ yearly revenue through a diverse product portfolio, operating in a broad breadth of market segments. We are seeking a dynamic Sr. Manager, qPCR FP&A to drive both our Core dPCR & Agricultural Biology businesses through strategic business partnership and overall qPCR business unit consolidations. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Finance will allow for visibility and growth potential. This role will be the primary business partner support to two of our strategic growth plays within qPCR. As the key partner to the business, you will help the team drive all aspects of the P&L and Balance Sheet, touching revenue, margin, operating expenses, net income, capital spend and support NPIs and OEM-In projects. You will lead one senior financial analyst, with a heavy emphasis on mentoring to drive business support while guiding towards achievement of career aspirations. Key Responsibilities:

- Partner directly with the General Manager, Product Managers, Sales Leaders, Operations and Finance to own the business through key analyses, executively synthesized communication, key performance indicator tracking and variance reporting
- Cultivate a positive and effective working atmosphere for your team and business
- Provide key insights into revenue trends through price/volume and customer analytics
- Immerse yourself in the financials and strategies of multiple NPIs
- Define critical metrics to measure success and drive initiatives to meet goals
- Partner with Divisional FP&A lead to develop monthly forecasts
- Own Operating and Capital Expense budgets and management
- Partner with the business to drive the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic 5-Year Plan (STRAP)
- Develop models that help with decision-making based on strategic thought leadership
- Continuously drive operational improvements (PPI) in our internal processes
- Use systems/tools to automate reporting where applicable

Keys to Success:

- Degree in Finance, Accounting or other business-related subject areas (MBA, CFA a plus)
- 7+ years of progressive finance experience
- Full comprehension of financials and how to use them to analyze a business
- Self-reliant, problem solver with a natural bias towards continuous improvement
- Detail oriented and organized
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and meet timelines
- Outstanding Excel, PowerBI and PowerPoint skills
- Experience with Hyperion Planning, Smartview, Power BI or similar systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Consistent track record of working with a diverse group of individuals
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with senior management
- Demonstrated experience in a sophisticated, multinational, heavily matrixed organization
- Embraces challenges in a continuously evolving environment

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $130,000.00-$194,950.00.
