Summary
Functions as a critical leadership role on the practice marketing team, leading Finance practice marketing, with a mission to elevate the brand and services of the firm's largest practice groups. Collaborates closely with practice leadership to enhance awareness of the group's capabilities and success, inside and outside the firm. Identifies, drives and oversees new business development opportunities and marketing initiatives to achieve the revenue growth objectives of the firm.
Location
This position can be remote. Candidates should reside within reasonable commuting distance to the home office and must be based in one of the following offices: New York, Short Hills, or Philadelphia office.
Responsibilities
- Develops and executes go-to-market plans for the Finance practice group that deliver results that support brand strategy and focus on practice priority areas in collaboration with practice group leaders.
- Manages client-centric and data-driven, integrated marketing and business development campaigns that deliver results against strategic priorities.
- Leads the implementation of leading-edge marketing tactics across several functional areas of the marketing, BD and communications team that include brand, digital and social marketing, public relations, collateral and sales enablement tools and events.
- Understands key business issues our clients are facing, market dynamics and competitive strategies to improve the development of messaging and go-to-market strategies.
- Writes marketing collateral and business development content, leveraging a strong knowledge of practice capabilities and the practice's value proposition.
- Drives an effective strategy for achieving awards and directories' recognition that reflect the practice group's capabilities and successes on behalf of clients.
- Leads the onboarding and integration of key laterals and their client base.
- Provides leadership to and manages a team of business professionals to include coaching, mentoring and professional development. Responsible for providing performance feedback on a regular basis.
- Assists with planning practice meetings and retreats.
- Manages the practice marketing budget to align with practice group priorities.
- Measures and tracks results of marketing programs and reports on ROI.

Desired SkillsStrong writing and presentation skills required. Must have ability to analyze data and use multiple sources of information to develop solutions and recommendations. Must be a self-starter and leader with accomplished critical thinking skills and a thorough understanding of the value proposition. Must have excellent communication and data analysis skills. Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Education- Bachelor's degree in marketing communications, business or related field
Preferred EducationCertifications- Graduate degree preferred
Minimum Years of Experience
- 8 years' experience in marketing/business development in a professional services environment
- Prior experience practicing law in a large law firm is a plus
- Proficiency with MS Office products to include Word/Excel/Power Point
- Must have experience and ability to plan strategically, execute tactically and have a client service focus

The firm's expected hiring range for this position is $146,352 - $193,920 per year depending on the candidate's geographic market location.
The compensation offered for employment will also be dependent on other factors including the candidate's experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
