Are you a seasoned Project Engineer with a passion for driving operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?
Our client, a food manufacturer, is seeking a dynamic Sr. Project Engineer to join their team and oversee the planning, design, and execution of critical projects that will shape their future. As a key member of their leadership team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of initiatives that optimize production, expand capacity, and enhance their overall operational efficiency.
What you'll do:
- Lead and manage a diverse range of engineering projects, from plant expansions to equipment installations and upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, production, and engineering, to ensure project success.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to stay on track and within budget.
- Provide technical oversight and ensure compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and resolve potential issues proactively to minimize project risks.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership and technical teams.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial).
- 5+ years of experience in project engineering in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food or beverage.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects and deliver results on time and within budget.
- Strong technical skills and a deep understanding of engineering principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- A passion for continuous improvement and a drive to find innovative solutions.
- Competitive compensation which you can earn up to $135,000 total in your first year.
