RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Staff Accountant in Georgetown, TX. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day functions of the accounting team.Essential Duties:- Staff Accountant will maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts
- Perform account reconciliations and bank settlements
- Assist with period end budget and closing processes
- Support internal financial audits and audit preparation for external accounting services
- Assist with AP/AR processing as needed
- As a Staff Accountant, you will assist with tax related documentation supporting external taxation services
- Monitor department spend to identify trends for potential cost reduction
- Perform other related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Financial Management and/or ERP Software (SAP S/4HANA preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience with GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with other team members
- Ability to resolve problems or situations requiring the exercise of good judgment
- Able to sit and/or stand for up to eight (8) hours per day
- Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner
- Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers
- Close vision (sharp vision at 20 inches or less); Distance vision (sharp vision at 20 feet or more); Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)
- Able to bend, stoop, lift, reach, climb steps/ladder on occasional basis
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
