Nature & Purpose of Position:The Institute for Homeland Security (IHS) at Sam Houston State University (SHSU) seeks an undergraduate student. The student worker will need to be an independent, self-starter with significant skills in programming and coding applying them to data collection and structuring for Social Network Analysis projects. While not a requirement, students majoring or minoring in computer science would be highly encouraged to apply.
The student would need to work well with others and take direction from IHS staff and sub-researchers/contractors in an in-person setting. The work is primarily conducted on the SHSU campus on an IHS computer.
