The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking applications for two positions in the surgical pathology and transfusion medicine/blood bank, respectively.
Duties will include sign-out of pathology cases, and teaching of medical students, residents and fellows. Research activities will include any scholastic activities that pertain to the applicant's clinical and/or academic interests. Service responsibilities will include serving on Departmental and/or University committees when needed.

Tulane University School of Medicine is located in downtown New Orleans, but the clinical practice is spread in several hospitals in the metropolitan area and the suburban, which is a culturally diverse community that supports an urban, suburban and semi-rural lifestyle. Candidates should have a medical degree (MD or MD/PhD), be board-certified/eligible in AP, CP, or AP/CP with proper subspecialty fellowship training, and be eligible for a Louisiana Medical License. Applicants for surgical pathology with sub-specialties in GU, GI/liver or Gyn pathology will be preferentially considered. Applicants for transfusion medicine should have the knowledge and experience in apheresis and stem cell collection. J-1 visa holders are welcome to apply.
