RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Integration Manager in Juno Beach, FL.Overview:Employees in this technical role provide engineering expertise and guidance conceptualizing, integrating, and executing assignments related to continuous control of energy conversion and storage processes.The Technical Integration Manager works with Process Control and SCADA Engineers across multiple control solution platforms to develop and integrate control standards, modularized functional logic, and graphics. The Technical Integration Manager guides and tracks suppliers and EPC firms performing controls related planning and execution for new construction and existing sites. The Technical Integration Manager leads work scoping and installation package development for renewable process control software/hardware solutions. The Technical Integration Manager typically supports commissioning activities remotely, identifies lessons-learned to be added to functional logic plans and work execution plans up through turnover to operations.The successful candidate will have a sense of accountability and urgency required to make informed decisions regarding safety, regulatory compliance, system integrity, and engineering complexity under limited supervision.Responsibilities:
  • Plans and leads engineering projects which have important impact on major company programs
  • Acts as subject matter expert to individuals within and outside the organization with responsibility to act independently regarding technical matters pertaining to individual's field
  • Completes assignments given in broad terms concerning general objectives and limitations
  • Provides technical support to project developers and peer engineering disciplines
  • Incorporates feedback from operating engineers for failure mitigation and quality improvement
  • Provides technical leadership in the functional specification, design, implementation and testing of control solutions


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or related STEM field
  • Experience: 10+ years
  • Working experience with functional logic development for continuous process control, PID loops and/or protection
  • Working experience with networked based communication and control architectures
  • Technical/functional excellence/learning
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Supervisor/Management Experience: 2+ years
  • A/E firm and/or EOR experience
  • Project controls fluency e.g. cost/schedule, deliverables management, Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project user
  • Sensitivity to O&M based customers, commissioning, and outage constraints
  • Experience with Modbus, OPC, and DNP3 protocols
  • Experience with functional safety standards (e.g., IEC 61511/61508 or equivalent protection concepts)
  • Experience with DCS/PLC based control implementations e.g. Controllogix, Ovation, PCS7, and DeltaV
  • Working knowledge of power fundamentals and voltage control
  • RNG, LNG and/or H2 gas process and/or combustion experience
  • Working technical integration experience


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
