Technician- Quality Control

Andover, MA

Contract Position

$40.63-$45.63/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Perform chemical analysis and quality verification of flow battery electrolyte samples using HPLC, ICP, UV-Vis, viscometry, turbidity, and conductivity techniques.
• Provide critical quality control data for the development of new battery electrolyte products and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with senior chemists, battery scientists, and manufacturing partners to ensure that electrolyte products meet specifications for development and commercial use.
• Support a team of four, generating QC data and testing samples for research and development initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with laboratory experience.
• Experience:
• At least 1 year of laboratory experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or biotech environments.
• Proficiency in HPLC and/or ICP-OES analytical techniques.
• Ability to conduct testing, analyze data, and contribute to next steps in product development.
• Desired Skills:
  • 4+ years of experience in industrial chemical or pharmaceutical product development and quality control.
  • Experience in analytical method development and validation.
  • Knowledge of procedures for validation, verification, and periodic monitoring to meet customer specifications.
