US & Canada HR Digital Transformation Leader

As Mercer's US & Canada HR Digital Transformation Leader, you will be a key member of the US&C Career Practice and will report to the US&C Career Practice Leader. The role will also have a matrix (dotted line) reporting relationship to the Global HR Digital Transformation Leader. This Regional role will be responsible for operationalizing strategy via guidance from the Global HR Digital Transformation Leader and providing feedback on such. It will be responsible for execution of client work as well as the necessary advisory and delivery capacity.

We are seeking a visionary and dynamic leader to spearhead HR Digital Transformation in the United States and Canada. This Leader will play a crucial role in driving our mission to be the global leader in HR Transformation, focusing on designing services that meet customers at any stage of their digital HR transformation journey and executing on that vision.

We will count on you to deliver:

Our US and Canada External Market and Client Agenda

  • Contribute to, translate and execute global strategies for the US and Canada to position Mercer as the premier provider of HR digital transformation of AI services
  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives to establish Mercer as an authority in HR digital transformation
  • With guidance from the Global HR Digital Transformation Leader, drive innovation in HR transformation, with emphasis on leveraging RPA/AI, organizational change management, data analytics and design thinking
  • Oversee the integration of Mercer's comprehensive portfolio of products and services into HR Digital Transformation offerings
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, technology vendors, and industry partners
  • Lead sales efforts and act as a key market-facing representative for HR Digital Transformation
  • Have the capability to lead keynote speaking events at major HR and technology events in the region
  • Guide successful HR technology deployments across various platforms and WDAY technology implementation

Business and Financial Leadership
  • Drive revenue, profitable growth and market share expansion from approx. $100M of revenue to $130M of revenue in the next 3-year strategic planning cycle.
  • Lead the implementation and growth of HR Digital Transformation in the US and Canada market
  • Collaborate with global and regional leadership to ensure alignment with overall Career objectives

People Leadership
  • Lead a high-performing team of HR transformation Digital HR experts, and WDAY implementation team
  • Lead the team through its own transformation journey
  • Nurture and maintain strong and collaborative relationships with other Regional and Global HR Digital Transformation Leaders

What you need to have:
  • Recognized thought leader in HR transformation and digital HR strategies, both internally and externally in the US and Canada
  • Extensive experience in HR transformation, digital strategy, and technology implementation across multiple solutions and platforms
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives
  • Track record of successful HR technology deployments and implementations
  • Experience in working and partnering with vendors and conference organizers in the US and Canada for the purposes of brand building and business development
  • Deep understanding of the HR technology landscape including experience layer, integrations and capabilities of these vendors; and positive vendor relationships with executive teams
  • Strong business acumen with a focus on driving profitable growth and client satisfaction
  • Proven sales experience and ability to build and maintain profitable client relationships
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and drive change
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage C-suite executives
  • Demonstrated success in change management and organizational transformation

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person

The applicable base salary range for this role is $240,000 to $360,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
