Warehouse Material Handling

Greenville, SC

Contract Position

$14.00-$19.00/Hour

Be part of an operation that focuses on the sustainment and modernization of tactical aircraft, ensuring they remain ready and capable. This facility is a cornerstone of aerospace maintenance and support, providing essential services to enhance military aircraft's operational life and capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, and move materials within or near the plant, yard, or worksite while following specific instructions.
• Perform tasks related to shipping, receiving, and storage, including picking and putting away items.
• Open containers using hand tools, count and weigh materials, and accurately record relevant information.
• Transfer materials to and from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machinery by hand.
• Operate equipment such as hand trucks, electric dollies, and elevators to transport materials.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials onto and from trucks.
• Stack or assemble materials as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods with limited rest and walk distances during the work shift.
• Capability to climb ladders and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
• Experience in a warehouse or material handling role is a plus.
