In this exciting role, you'll:

• Act as the sole payroll processor and backup for the Senior Accountant as needed
• Process full-cycle payroll for 250+ employees across multiple states
• Audit and review bi-weekly timesheets
• Process timesheet input in payroll software to generate checks, direct deposits, and reports, meeting payroll submission deadlines set by third-party providers.
• Reconcile and transmit files for retirement plans and garnishment
• Maintain and update payroll records, including deductions, exemptions, and direct deposit information.
• Collaborate with HR to manage payroll-related inquiries, adjustments, and reports.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare reports for management and auditing purposes.
• Support special projects such as system upgrades or payroll software implementation.

You'll be a great fit if you have:

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience, including multi-state payroll
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree
• Highly Preferred: Experience in the engineering, construction, or consulting industry.
